The Franklin Folk Festival features more than 100 living exhibits and demonstrations to allow visitors to experience what mountain life was like way back when. These folks learned at their parents’ knee woodcarving, moon shining, basket making, weaving and spinning, and all the many other things they’ll be demonstrating.
Exhibits include everything from quilting and moonshinin' to Civil War reenactors.
Activities get underway at 9:00 a.m. and conclude with Pickin' in downtown Franklin.
Visitors to the Franklin Folk Festival are in for a fantastic time. In addition to all the demonstrations and arts & crafts there's a full schedule of outstanding mountain music and plenty of “heritage” food.
Admission and parking for the event are FREE!
